Nevalra frontman and Thy Antichrist guitarist Scott Eames has been tapped by legendary metal band Vital Remains to be their fill-in vocalist for their “30 Years Of Blasphemy” tour. Since the release of Nevalra’s album Conjuring The Storm on M-Theory Audio this summer, Eames has been touring non-stop and has recently completed a trek with both of his bands in Europe.
Eames had the following to say about his new gig:
To say I am excited to be performing with Vital Remains would be an understatement. I have been a fan of the band and have watched their progress for a long time. Vital Remains has always been top-notch in the death metal realm. I can’t believe I get to be loud with these guys and add a flash of my own personality to their stage. I mean, how often do you get to play in a band you’ve been headbanging to since high school?! Let me put it this way… let the killing… begin…
The Providence, Rhode Islands-based death metal legends have posted the following on their Facebook page to reveal Eames as their new frontman:
Eames and his Nevalra brethren has recently won the “Band on The Rise” award at the recent Mid-MO Rock Music Awards which was held at the Blue Note in Columbia, Missouri on October 27th.
