Arizona metal band Gatecreeper have released their new music video recently. You can watch the official music video for their song “From The Ashes” below. The song is from the band’s upcoming new album Deserted which is due out on October 4th via Relapse Records.
Vocalist Chase Mason commented:
‘From The Ashes‘ is the most anthemic song we have ever written. Although we have flirted with the idea in the past, there are more melodic guitar leads in this song than ever before. I’d say this one is primed and ready for the European Metal Festival circuit.
Heavy music act Candy has announced that they have signed with Relapse Records. To go along with the announcement, the band have released a two-song 7″ entitled Super-Stare. You can stream both tracks from that 7″ – “Super-Stare” and “Win Free Love” – below.
The band commented on the song:
‘Super-Stare‘ is agoraphobia rather than claustrophobia. The ultimate trip; the song is a journey into a testing ground in which each living thing tries every day not to be eaten. As it unravels, the listener grows oppressed by the great weight of the music around them and gradually loses confidence in orderly civilization.
San Jose, California metal band Exhumed have debuted their new music video recently. You can watch the NSFW music video for their song “Naked, Screaming And Covered In Blood” below. The song is from the band’s upcoming new album Horror which is due out on October 4th via Relapse Records.
Frontman Matt Harvey commented:
We’re excited to share this video nasty with all you creeps and mutants. There’s a NSFW version [the one below] that hews closely to the title, and then a tamer version that won’t upset the bloated corporate entities that have insidiously slithered their way into our music-consuming activities.
Director Dustin Ferguson really captured the vibe of the record – it’s schlock-and-shock bloody mayhem, and unlike our last vid, even features the vidiots in the band! It’s really got it all: Blood! Boobs! Chainsaws! Did I mention boobs? And a special guest host VJ appearance to cap it off. Face it true believers – you’ve hit the Gore Metal jackpot!
Arizona metal band Gatecreeper have shared their new song recently. You can stream the song “Everlasting” below. The song is from the band’s upcoming new album Deserted which is due out on October 4th via Relapse Records.
Vocalist Chase Mason commented:
‘Everlasting shows the murkier side of Gatecreeper to close out the A side of ‘Deserted‘. We incorporated some new subtle elements into this song like the Finnish style guitar lead, the fast 1-2 beat in the bridge and the slamming pinch harmonic riff towards the end. The repetitive outro slowly drills into your brain and fades out before it’s time to flip the record over for the second half.
San Jose, California metal band Exhumed have released their new song recently. You can stream the song “Ravenous Cadavers” below. The song is the first single off the band’s upcoming new album Horror which is due out on October 4th via Relapse Records.
Vocalist Matt Harvey commented:
‘Ravenous Cadavers‘ is a great taste of the album – and this is one of the more mid-paced tracks on the record, so… ‘Horror‘ is all about stripping away everything and getting down to the core elements of our sound: raw and nasty aggression. The album’s like mainlining Grinding Death Metal at a lethal dose.
If you liked the more intricate, melodic stuff that we’ve done, this may not be the one for you. If you’re a fuckin’ maniac that wants to pound some beers and smash up some tombstones, this is the record you’ve been waiting for.
Dallas, Texas metal band Devourment is now streaming their upcoming new album Obscene Majesty in its entirety. You can give that album a listen below. The album is due out this Friday, August 16th via Relapse Records.
Arizona death metal band Gatecreeper has debuted their new song recently. You can stream the song “Boiled Over” below. The song is the lead single off the band’s upcoming new album Deserted which is due out on October 4th via Relapse Records.
The band spoke of the new album:
We are very proud to finally unleash our second full-length album. There are plenty of new and exciting elements mixed into our songwriting formula, but the most apparent evolution is simply getting better at what we have been doing since the beginning. Our experiences over the 3 years have made us a stronger band all around. With ‘Deserted‘ we wanted to solidify and define the Gatecreeper sound of memorable songwriting with both infectious hooks and crushing riffs.
