We Came As Romans Announce “To Plant A Seed” 10th Year Anniversary Tour With The Devil Wears Prada, Gideon & Dayseeker

We Came As Romans have announced that they are heading out on tour to celebrate the 10th Year Anniversary of their album To Plant A Seed recently. Supporting them on this tour will be The Devil Wears Prada, Gideon, and Dayseeker.

We Came As Romans guitarist Joshua Moore commented:

We’re really excited to announce the 10-year anniversary tour for our first record ‘To Plant A Seed‘. Being able to watch our fans connect with us through music over the last decade has been an amazing privilege, and it all started with ‘To Plant A Seed‘. Way back in 2009 when we recorded it, we had no idea where it would take us or what we were really even doing, and it’s awesome to see that we can play these songs still, and feel that connection with you.

But over the course of 10 years, we’ve released four other albums and we’re even working on a fifth! With that being said, we are going to be throwing these songs into the vault of old WCAR — and retiring them from all future setlists after this tour. So make sure you grab your tickets and come hear these songs one last time live.

The Devil Wears Prada Unveil Music Video For “Chemical”

Metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada have unveiled their new music video recently. You can watch the official video for their song “Chemical” below. The song is from the band’s latest album The Act which was released recently via Solid State Records.

Keyboardist Jon Gering commented on the video:

‘Chemical‘ is about coming to terms with the idea that all of our feelings, good and bad, are just chemical reactions in our brains. It is both a bleak and hopeful way to to view the world, but at times it can help us to move forward.

The Devil Wears Prada Share New Song “Please Say No”

Metal band The Devil Wears Prada have shared their new song recently. You can stream the song “Please Say No” below. The song is from the band’s upcoming new album The Act which is due out on October 11th via Solid State Records.

Vocalist Mike Hranica commented:

‘Please Say No‘ is based off of a scene within the novel ‘Never Come Morning‘ by Nelson Algren. This song is more difficult to explain than any other set of lyrics I’ve assembled. Saying the song is derivative of class injustice is insufficient and saying the song is born of a violent crime is cheap. Lyrically, I’d urge interested listeners to read the book. Musically, I’ll encourage listeners to enjoy what I consider to be our moodiest effort on ‘The Act‘.
